Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10

The songs are masterfully composed and flow together beautifully, and the orchestration is exactly how I want metal orchestration to sound: full, playable by a real orchestra, and just as important to the music as the vocals, drums, guitar, and bass are.

An absolutely fantastic album. With a variety of ornamental instruments, as well as fantastic, powerful vocals. It all just sounds magical. It's an incredibly unique piece, approachable by even the less hardcore of melodeath fans
